Brotherhood bid bad news, and good
In an opinion piece in The Australian, Anthony Bubalo, Program Director West Asia, writes that the decision by the Muslim Brotherhood to field a candidate in Egypt's presidential election in May, after repeatedly insisting it would not do so, is mostly bad news for the country's democratic transformation: although, potentially, with a little bit of good news mixed in.
